Terms of enrolment

Courses are for learning and personal development. Lessons are general guidance and do not replace the rules, training or instructions of your employer or the law.
You get access to the lessons, the test and your certificate for the course you paid for. Access is personal to you. Do not share your login or course link.
To receive a certificate you must finish all lessons and pass the final test with the pass mark shown on the course page. We may limit retakes, for example a waiting period after repeated failed attempts.
Do not cheat, copy or sell the course content, or use someone else's name. We may cancel access and revoke a certificate if these rules are broken or if a certificate was issued by mistake.
We may update, improve or remove lessons and questions at any time.
We try to keep the website available, but we cannot promise that it will always work without interruption.

Fees and refunds

The course fee is shown on the course page and is paid once, in naira, through Paystack.
Because you get access to the content immediately, fees are not refundable after payment, except where we charged you by mistake or took payment twice. If that happens, contact us and we will correct it.
If your payment was taken but you did not get access, contact us with your name, email and payment reference so we can fix it quickly.
Voucher codes are for the person they were given to, have limits and expiry dates, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

Certificates

Each certificate has its own number. Anyone who has the number can check the certificate on our website. The check shows your name, the course, the date and your score. It does not show your email or phone number.
A certificate is issued by Jobsquare Media for completing our course. It is not a government licence, a degree or an official professional qualification.
A certificate may be revoked if it was obtained dishonestly or issued in error.

Privacy policy

What we collect. Your full name, email address, phone number, a password (stored in a protected, scrambled form so we cannot read it), the courses you enrol in, your lesson progress, your test attempts and scores, and your certificate. Payments are processed by Paystack. We do not see or store your card details.

Why we use it. To give you access to your course, let you log in and continue, mark your tests, issue and verify your certificate, send you your course link and receipts, handle payments and support requests, and keep the service safe.

Who sees it. Our team can see your enrolment details and results to run the service. We do not sell your personal information. We share only what is needed with service providers that help us, such as Paystack for payments and our email and hosting providers, or where the law requires it.

Employers. We do not send your course results to employers unless you ask us to or agree to it, apart from the public certificate check described above.

Keeping it safe. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No website is completely risk free, so please choose a strong password and keep it private.

Your choices. You can ask us to correct your details or to delete your account and personal information, subject to records we must keep (for example payment records and issued certificates). Write to us using the contact details below.

Cookies and storage. This site stores a small login token and your course access on your own device so you stay signed in and can continue where you stopped. You can clear it by logging out or clearing your browser data.

Emails. We send emails about your course, access, receipts and password resets. We do not send unrelated marketing without your permission.

Children. These courses are for people aged 18 and above. If you are under 18, please use them only with a parent or guardian's permission.

Limits of responsibility

No job guarantee. Completing a course and receiving a certificate shows that you have learned the lessons and passed the test. It does not guarantee that you will be offered a job, an interview or a placement, by Jobsquare Media or by any employer. Hiring decisions are made by employers.
We do our best to keep lessons accurate and up to date, but we do not promise that every detail applies to every workplace or situation.
Jobsquare Media is not responsible for decisions made by employers, or for any loss that results from relying on the course content.
Nothing here limits any right you have under the law.
